Great perspective! I've seen many examples of how an "inexperienced" person actually has a great solution.

Too many people focus on what a person has done. But all that shows is that the person was successful in that environment.

It doesn't mean they'll be successful in mine, and if you've ever been pressured to get anything, a home, a haircut, a vacation, that doesn't fit you, you know exactly what I mean.

Good stuff. Appreciate you taking the time to hop into the conversation. The reason it becomes important to define the situation is so we can make sure companies are really working with smart people that are credible. Think circa 1998 - when people would say you need a web site and it costs $1,000,000. Lot's of charlatans out there. We need clarity.

Hi Leah & Adam -

Thanks for stopping by - the heart of my commentary is that people who listen,hire, or choose to work with others are qualified to judge for themselves who they need to work with at any given point in their evolution. While there are indeed charlatans out there looking to take advantage of the hype - if someone chooses to work with them and gets taken... it is not for lack of good information... it will be because they are too lazy to be well-informed - and will make their own bed. Personally I don't care to work with anyone that ill-informed anyway so - let bygones be bygones. Focus on the people and companies serious enough to thoughtfully approach their challenges and opportunities.
