I'd like to throw out one more here...
"Love is the Killer App" by Tim Sanders
The thesis of the book is that your business and life can be better by helping others around you. The "better" won't come immediately, but your actions can touch people's lives immediately and reflect back on yours. I've personally done this by connecting pieces of my network together. When I find two people with complementary goals, similar troubles, or similar passions, I put them in touch with a note on why they should follow up. Most don't lead to anything, but I know a few friendships and business relationships have resulted. My 0.02
I wrote some thoughts on this one last month - http://caseysoftware.com/blog/the-art-of-the-introduction
